Something Beautiful Is Blooming This May đ¸
Hey You,
May feels like a deep exhale.
The windows are open a little more. The light lingers longer in the evenings. And after weeks of traveling, being in and out, living out of bags and different beds⌠it feels really good to be home again.
Not a glamorous home.
Not a perfectly tidy home.
Just real-life home.
Laundry piles. Familiar coffee mugs. My own pillow. The quiet hum of routines returning.
Thereâs something grounding about coming back â about putting your feet on the same floor each morning, opening the same cabinet, hearing the familiar sounds of your own space. Travel stretches me in beautiful ways, but home⌠home steadies me.
And right now, I feel that steadying in my bones.
âď¸ Opening My Calendar for Summer 1:1 Clients
With summer coming, Iâm opening a small number of 1:1 coaching spots.
Summer can be beautiful â and tricky.
Patios. Vacations. Weddings. BBQs. Long weekends. So many opportunities for joy⌠and also so many moments where alcohol has traditionally been part of the picture.
If youâve been thinking:
"I want this summer to feel different."
"I donât want to waste another beautiful morning feeling tired or foggy."
"I want to feel proud of myself by the time fall rolls around."
This might be your moment.
Working 1:1 is where we get honest. Where we build new habits, new rituals, and new ways of celebrating and unwinding that donât leave you feeling regretful the next day.
If itâs been on your heart, just reply to this email. Iâll send you the booking link when it opens.
đ¸ Setting the Stage for Summer
Being back home has me thinking about summer differently this year.
Not in the rushed, overbooked wayâbut in the intentional way.
What do I actually want this summer to feel like?
Clear mornings.
Coffee outside.
Laughing without feeling fuzzy or disconnected.
Remembering the sunsets instead of sleeping through the mornings.
Summer doesnât have to be something you survive.
It can be something you fully live.
And May feels like the perfect time to set the stage for that.
⨠A Sweet Partnership with Kendra Scott
Iâm really excited about this one.
I'm partnering with Kendra Scott for the Sober in the City Denim to Diamonds event, and it just feels like such a beautiful fitâcelebrating women, connection, and doing something meaningful together.
This event and partnership is a celebration of the work weâre doing here, helping women drink less, feel stronger, and build lives theyâre proud of.
I'll be sending a code for free shipping for those that can't make it live but start thinking: gifts, graduation season, Motherâs Day⌠or honestly, something pretty just for you. What better way to Spoil Yourself Sober?
đď¸ Discounted Tickets to Sober in the City
We also have one discounted ticket for Sober in the City Colorado Springs to share, and I would absolutely love to hug some of you in real life. Ticket prices are $700, but we have a partial scholarship, and I have one to share for $375. If attending has been on your mind but finances have held you back, reply to this email and let me know, and this discounted ticket can be yours.
These events are so special.
Good drinks. Big laughs. Real conversations. The kind of connection that reminds you you're not the only one walking this path.
If youâve been on the fence, consider this your gentle nudge.
đĽ The Pickleback I Can't Stop Thinking About
OkayâI have to tell you about this drink.
Five Corners is a local Chicago company. I already love their Salty Lemonade (a dash of cumin is so interesting!) and Sangrita (spicy tomato). I tried the new pickleback-inspired alcohol-free drink, and I am still thinking about it days later.
Bright. Tangy. Savory. A little unexpected.
It was one of those drinks that make you feel specialâlike you're worthy of a special drink and alcohol has nothing to do with it.
Honestly, moments like that remind me how far the alcohol-free world has come. There are so many fun, creative options now, and it makes this lifestyle feel exciting instead of restrictive.
đď¸ I Shared My Story on a Podcast Recently
I recently had the chance to sit down for a really honest conversation on a podcast, and I wanted to share it with you.
The host is actually one of my clients, and I have the honor of being her business coachâwhich made the conversation feel even more special and meaningful.
We talked about growing up in a heavy drinking culture in Wisconsin and how alcohol slowly became something I leaned on to cope with the pressures of life, career, and motherhood. So much of my story was about holding it all together on the outside while quietly struggling on the insideâsomething I know so many women can relate to.
We also talked about what it actually took for me to change and how it wasnât about one big dramatic rock bottom. It was about learning to feel my feelings, build confidence, and trust myself again.
Today, helping women feel less alone on this journey means everything to me, and sharing this conversation felt really personal.
If you have time for a walk or a quiet moment this week, Iâd love for you to listen.

đ The Flower Moon is Here
April showers bring the May Flower Moon, and I always love this time of year.
It feels like a reminder that growth happens slowly. Quietly. Petal by petal.
Many use this period for setting intentions around personal growth, fertility, and nurturing new ideas, reflecting the "planting" theme.
Take a breath.
Notice how far you've come.
Let yourself feel proud, even if the progress has been messy.
Especially if it's been messy.
đĄ Back Home (and Feeling It)
These past few weeks have been full â travel, movement, packing bags, unpacking bags, catching flights, keeping schedules.
Good things. Full things. But also⌠a lot.
So being home right now feels like a gift.
Waking up in my own bed.
Making coffee in my own kitchen.
Letting the day start a little slower.
Thereâs a rhythm to home that you donât fully appreciate until you step away from it.
And Iâve been noticing how much I crave that rhythm, especially as summer approaches.
Summer has a way of speeding everything up. More invitations. More movement. More yeses. A high school graduation for my youngest and entering a new era as the mom of adults for me.
But being back home reminds me that steadiness matters just as much as celebration.
That rest is part of joy.
That rhythm is part of freedom.
That home is where we refill our cup.
And right now, Iâm soaking that in.
