When I was a kid, I ran a pretend company from my closet. I was a latchkey kid with a journal and a big imagination, and my company had a name: Dare to Dream.
Then I grew up. Twenty years in corporate HR, sales, and leadership. Somewhere in there, wine became part of the uniform.
When I finally ditched the drink, I built a real business—and it started the way the first one did: in secret, from my closet. I named it Ditched the Drink. It took me years to notice what I'd done.
