Living vs. Performing — and Why I’m Choosing to Live
Hi Friend,
I’ve been a little quieter lately.
Less posting.
Less scrolling.
Less reactive to the noise.
And more living.
Over the past few weeks, I stepped away from almost everything—including social media—and traveled, rested, and wandered, letting myself exist without documenting it. Without packaging it. Without performing it.
And something beautiful happened.
I found my creative flow again.
Not the kind that comes from pressure or deadlines or algorithms…
but the kind that feels like co-creation with the universe, the divine in me, connecting with the divine in you. The kind that feels like being fully alive.
Because here’s the truth I’ve been sitting with:
My best work isn’t content creation.
My best work is co-creation.
It’s the sacred space between us.
It’s sitting beside women in their darkest moments and whispering, “You’re not alone.” It’s helping women rebuild trust with themselves, one honest conversation at a time.
That kind of work can’t be mass-produced.
It can’t be clickbaited.
It can’t be reduced to shock value or flashy promises.
I thought I wasn't affected by it, but somewhere along the way, social media started whispering lies to me.
That I wasn’t enough.
That I needed to do more.
Be bigger.
Post more.
Share more.
Expose more.
But I never set out to be famous.
I never wanted to perform my life; my nervous system wasn’t made for that.
I am meant for connection. Deep, steady, human connection.
I am not designed to share my life with strangers online.
I started Ditched the Drink to promote a sustainable alcohol-free lifestyle, not to sell someone else’s supplements, THC-infused drinks, or fast-fashion trends. Actually, it's never been about me, but about being the best at coaching and supporting YOU!
I was made to hold hands, not headlines.
And stepping away from my routine didn’t disconnect me.
It realigned me.
It reminded me of something I had started to forget:
Living and serving are not separate things.
I don’t have to choose between my life and my work.
I don't have to choose between my dreams and my community.
They are the same.
I can be deeply present in my community every day
and live the life of my dreams outside of it.
In fact…
The better I live my life, the better I give to my clients.
And lately, I feel like myself again.
Clear.
Creative.
Grounded.
In love with my life in a way that feels steady instead of performative.
Not perfect but aligned.
And that’s precisely why I’m inviting you inside.
Not into more noise.
Not into more pressure.
Don't go into another space where you have to perform.
But into something quieter.
More personal.
More real.
Inside the Insider Community, we co-create life together.
And this week, I’m doing something new and deeply intentional.
✨ I’m creating smaller, more intimate pods inside the community.
These pods will be spaces where you’re not just another name on a screen. You're known. Supported. Seen.
Places where deeper connection happens.
Where accountability feels human.
Where healing feels possible.
Because I don’t want a giant crowd.
I want meaningful connection.
If you are already part of the Insider Community, you understand the significance of small groups, meaningful connections, and the importance of being known.
I'll be sending one more email early next week to confirm your interest in joining a pod. Stay tuned.
These pods will be limited in size—once they fill, they fill.
We’re stepping into Sober Spring, a season of renewal, clarity, and fresh beginnings.
If you’ve been feeling pulled to slow down…
to reconnect…
to find yourself again…
This might be your moment.
Not next month.
Not someday.
This week.
Because once the pods are created, I’ll be placing members into groups — and I want you inside before that happens.
If you’ve been watching from the sidelines…
thinking about joining…
waiting for the “right time”…
This is your nudge.
Join us inside the Insider Community now and step into Sober Spring with us.
You don’t have to do this alone.
And you don’t have to be louder, bigger, or more visible to be worthy of belonging.
Sometimes the most powerful work happens quietly.
in smaller rooms, with deeper conversations, and women who are ready to live fully.
I’m here.
Living. Creating. Listening.
And creating space for the women who are ready to live—not perform.
XO!
