I took my first real break from alcohol at the tail end of a September. I thought it would be a month. It became a whole new life.

I didn't have a plan. I had a tired feeling and a willingness to pay attention. That's still the whole recipe.

Fall does this on its own — the trees let go of what they're done with and don't make a big production of it. This workshop is one hour to decide what you're done with, and to build an October around it.

What we'll do together:

In one live hour on Zoom, you'll leave with:

  • Your challenge, chosen. Alcohol, the 11 pm scroll, sugar, saying yes when you mean no — we'll find the one that's actually yours this year, not the one you "should" do.
  • The letting-go practice. The ten-minute fall ritual I use with every client.
  • The three quit points. The moments in October where most women give up — and what to do at each one.
  • Your one-sheet, filled in. I drop it in the Zoom chat and we work it together, live. You'll leave with October mapped before it starts.

Willpower isn't the plan. Willingness is.

Heather Lowe ditched the drink in 2018 after 30 years of drinking that "felt like part of the job." She's since coached 300+ women one-on-one—and thousands more through community, newsletter, speaking, and events—on getting free from alcohol holistically. Sans Bar Coach of the Year 2026. Founder of Ditched the Drink and the Insider community, voted favorite support community by After (Alcohol-Free) Magazine.

She got sober with a friend who said, "Me too." They sometimes went out for coffee at 9 p.m. to stop themselves from opening a bottle. They planned early morning walks for something to look forward to. She's never forgotten having one person to lock arms with is the reason it worked. She's since found tons of alcohol-free badass babes to call friends all over the world.

She's on a mission to be that friend for you too, but in a certified professional coach who's trained in behavior change and neuroscience kind of way.
